Hepsia's File Manager section allows you to manage the content of your site with simple point & click maneuvers. Right-click context menus allow fast access to different file management options, whereas handy drag-and-drop functionality will allow you to upload new files from your computer in an instant. You will also find integrated file editors and an image viewer. You will be able to pack and unpack files with ease as well.
Fast File Uploads and Downloads
Working with the File Manager feels like working with your personal computer. The in-built drag 'n' drop functionality will allow you to easily transfer files between your desktop computer and the web server. Just select the file that you would like to upload from your desktop PC and then drag it over to your browser. The same applies to downloading a file from the File Manager to your desktop PC. Also, you can download files and even folders to your desktop PC by clicking the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager user interface, you can create a new file or folder with only a single click of the mouse. All action buttons are conveniently positioned above the file/folder list and you can update your files with ease. You can rename or copy a file, move a file to a different folder, examine the contents of a file or edit its permissions, erase a file, and so on.
Handy Archive/Unarchive Functionality
With the File Manager GUI, you will be able to zip and unpack all types of files. It does work surprisingly fast - simply select the files you wish to make a compressed archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive format (.rar, .zip, etc.). It is just as easy to extract an archive to a selected folder.
File Editors
With the File Manager graphical user interface, you actually do not need any external software in order to edit your files. There is an image viewer, which allows you to see the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will actually show up on your web site. Additionally, you will find several in-built file editors, which will grant you full authority over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are aimed at more proficient users, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can see all HTML source code changes in real time) is also suitable for non-tech-savvy individuals.
